Chengdu Xinde Industry Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Smart Factory
Strategic Transformation
Qin Can, Chairman and General Manager of Chengdu Xinde Industry, delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing the project's significance after five years of planning. "This is not merely a capacity expansion but a crucial starting point for Xinde's strategic transformation and upgrade," Qin stated.
The new facility, with an estimated annual production value of 300-500 million yuan, represents what the company describes as "a profound transformation from traditional equipment manufacturer to integrated solution provider for smart logistics and commercial display equipment".
This expansion builds upon Xinde's nearly 30-year journey in the industry. Established in 1995, the company has grown from a conventional shelf manufacturer into a national high-tech enterprise recognized as a Sichuan Province "Specialized, Refined, Unique, and Innovative" enterprise and a Chengdu municipal-level digital workshop.
Future Outlook
The new facility represents Xinde's continued commitment to technological innovation, green development, and talent cultivation. With products already exported to 16 countries and regions including the United States, Canada, and the UAE—accounting for nearly 20% of business—the company aims to strengthen its position in the global market.
"In the shelf industry for thirty years, I always maintain a sense of crisis," Qin Can reflected in an earlier interview. "We constantly think about changes in consumption patterns and industry trends, actively exploring new paths for the integration of digital and real economies".
The ceremony concluded at 8:30 AM in what the company described as "solemn, warm, simple, and harmonious" atmosphere. With construction machinery poised to replace ceremonial silence, Chengdu Xinde Industry looks toward establishing itself as a national leader in the smart storage sector.
